GIFT Program
Georgia Internship Fellowships for Teachers
Teachers in Georgia are learning firsthand about the world of STEM work through a unique program! The Georgia Intern Fellowships for Teachers (GIFT) program places teachers in jobs for four to seven weeks over the summer to gain real work experience in STEM positions.
Code.org
CEISMC is the Code.org Regional Partner for the State of Georgia. The goals of our partnership are to:
- Establish partnerships with local districts and schools, preparing K-12 teachers to lead effective computer science classrooms
- Organize and host quality, local workshops for districts and schools, implementing Code.org’s K-12 program with Code.org (accredited facilitators)
- Support, grow, and sustain the local community of K-12 computer science educators
- Remove barriers to achieving equity in K-12 CS Education

AMP
Advanced Manufacturing and Prototyping Integrated to Unlock Potential (AMP-IT-UP)
Explore the middle school STEM curriculum! The AMP-IT-UP project, supported through the National Science Foundation, has developed extensive instructional materials for middle schoolers. Students can download free curriculum modules and learn science, technology, math, and engineering through problem-based inquiry lessons.
Your Voice is Power
Your Voice is Power provides both students and teachers an introduction computer science through a real-world exploration of how music, computer science, and entrepreneurship can be tools to advance racial justice! Built in collaboration with Yellow, students channel their learning into an original remix of Pharrell’s song Entrepreneur – a celebration of Black culture – using Python computer code.

STEM Teachers at Tech Day
This one-day on-campus experience is designed to provide high school and middle school teachers with the opportunity to experience cutting edge resources and research here at Georgia Tech, increasing teachers' understanding of current, real-world applications of their content. All participating teachers will be placed in small groups based on their respective content areas and engage in activities with Georgia Tech research faculty; hands-on activities designed for replication in STEM classrooms; and small group discussions with current Georgia Tech students focused on pre-requisite skills and concepts they learned in high school!
ATL Science Festival
Members of the Georgia Tech community are opening their doors for the Atlanta Science Festival. Whether you’re interested in robotics, brains, biology, space, art, nanotechnology, paper, computer science, wearables, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or systems engineering, there will be activities for you! Visit campus for lab tours, hands-on STEAM activities, exhibits, demonstrations, opportunities to meet student researchers, and learn about the research and so much more happening at Tech.
Latino College & STEM Fair
The Annual Latino College and STEM Fair offers bilingual workshops, fun hands-on activities for the entire family, a college fair, and inspirational conversations with Latino college students, parents, professors, and other STEM professionals!
